Floral Print Lounge Chairs by Karl Ekselius for Pastoe 1950's

Description

Set of two "his and hers" loungechairs with chrome coloured base, designed by Karl Ekselius for Dutch manufacturer Pastoe (model FM31). These chairs have been reupholstered by their previous owner, in a very colourful flower print fabric, which gives them just that extra touch of 'je ne sais quoi' and makes this set truly unique and one-of-a-kind. Condition

This set is in good (vintage) condition, with normal, age-related wear, and some light staining on the seat of the smaller chair. Luckily, this doesn't draw attention, nor is it very visible, thanks to the printed fabric, which manages to hide the specks very well. Stains are only visible when crouching down and carefully inspecting the seat, but do not stand out in the bigger picture (as you can see in the photos). We have tried to capture the damage as good as possible by focussing on the seat of the smaller chair in photo 6,7 & 8.
