Foldable Steel & Glass Dining Table by Max Sauze 1970s
Description
With its minimalist and graphical design, this wireframe dining table fits right into current living trends. With its lightweight, foldable frame and glass top, you'd barely notice it's there, while its unique, postmodern design makes this table stand out from the crowd like only quiet luxury items can.
This postmodern masterpiece was designed by Algerian-French 'master of metal' Max Sauze. By 1968, Sauze had founded his own company, dedicated to working with aluminum, where his designs most frequently involve bent and interwoven aluminum strips over steel wire structures. This production process is said to come from the designer's spiritual outlook and the essential recurrent nature of life.
