Lavastone Coffee Table 1960s

Description

French, oval shaped coffee table with lavastone top and wooden base. The stone surface, executed in a colour holding the middle between burnt orange and soft brown, shows a floral motif in the style of coffee tables made by French artist François Chaty for Vallauris, though it is not signed. Still, a very beautiful and elegant piece, in the ever beloved French brutalist style.

The table is in perfect (vintage) condition, with hardly any traces of age-related wear.
