Does vintage design get any more iconic than this?!

Set of 4 Space Age 'La Fonda' chairs (also known as 'DAL' chairs or 'Model 1730-1') in original orange upholstering by Ray & Charles Eames for Herman Miller. The name 'La Fonda' is derived from the Mexican restaurant in New York for which these chairs were originally designed. This is the early 1960's edition, with white painted, cast aluminum legs and fiberglass shell. Two of the chair still carry the original sticker.

Condition

The chairs are in good (vintage) condition, with normal age-related wear on both the base and the fabric (as shown in the photos). There is also some light colour fading on each chair, but the wear is not disturbing and only adds character to these unique vintage design icons.
