Description

Set of 4 birch wood chairs with round shaped, spindle back designed by Swedish designer Yngve Ekström for Stolab Møbelfabrik. The chair was named after the Swedish lake-region Småland, where Ekström was from. Price is for the set.
Yngve Ekström was an architect, woodworker, and furniture designer. Following the death of his father, at the young age of only 13, Ekström began working in the country’s oldest furniture factory, Hagafors Chair Factory, where he acquired the skills and expertise of a true artisan. Yngve Ekstrom's furniture is characterized by the presence of wood and the right balance between aesthetics and functionality, which is why the chairs he created are renowned for their modern curves and genuine comfort.
