Description

Christensen started his design career at Bing & Grøndahl in 1945, after studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His work has been exhibited in several museums and galleries and he has received numerous awards for his designs. Christensen’s designs are characterized by their elegant simplicity and functionality. Inspired by nature, he often used organic shapes and subtle, harmonious colors. He was also strongly influenced by the movements of modernism and functionalism.
For Aco Møbler, Christensen designed this utterly gorgeous highboard, with a high quality body in teak, featuring two sliding doors and elegant, slender cigar-shaped legs. Inside are three shelves on the right side and one shelf on the left side, with a set of 5 drawers underneath.

Condition

The highboard is in perfect (vintage) condition, with minimal traces of wear.
